"As someone who has had the privilege of walking alongside incredible people during the Miles to Mayo journey, I’m humbled to see the baton being picked up once again for such a vital cause. The Mountains to Mayo campaign is more than just a challenge—it’s a lifeline for children and families battling the toughest fight of their lives. Ensuing they can be treated like the stars they are.
Every step you take, every mountain you climb, brings hope, strength, and much-needed funds to support these kids. The courage they show every day is nothing short of inspiring, and together we can stand beside them and let them know they are not alone.
To everyone lacing up their boots, pushing their limits, or simply spreading the word, I salute you. This is about more than the journey—it’s about making a real difference. Let’s dig deep, stay strong, and keep climbing.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for carrying on this mission. Together, we’ll continue to make sure no child faces cancer alone and prove the power of community.
Stay the course, and let’s make every step count."

The island of Ireland contains 32 counties - 26 in the Republic of Ireland and 6 in Northern Ireland. Each county has its unique features, be it rivers and lakes, rugged sea cliffs and sandy beaches, or amazing mountains and valleys.
The ‘County Highpoint Challenge’ involves, as the name suggests, visiting the highest point in each county. The heights vary widely and wildly; from climbing Ireland’s highest peaks to wandering around on boggy hills in search of small cairns.
A team of business leaders is aiming to complete the Challenge over 9 days, starting in Donegal on 7th June 2025 and finishing in Mayo on 15th June 2025. During the challenge the team will climb nearly 11,000m, which is 1.25 times the height of MT Everest from sea-level.
We are tackling the highest peaks across Ireland and aiming to raise £1m for Cancer Fund for Children, to ensure that no child in the 32 counties of Ireland needs to go through cancer alone.
